{"id":1292,"date":"2020-11-17T09:09:33","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T08:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fabisdesign-kids.com\/?p=1292"},"modified":"2020-11-17T09:09:33","modified_gmt":"2020-11-17T08:09:33","slug":"steam-forward-by-integrating-art-into-stem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fabisdesign-kids.com\/de\/2020\/11\/17\/steam-forward-by-integrating-art-into-stem\/","title":{"rendered":"STEAM forward by integrating Art into STEM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><strong>STEM<\/strong> is a modern teaching method in schools all over the world that has gained in popularity during the past several years. <\/span><span class=\"\">The interdisciplinary balance between the subjects <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">S<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">cience, <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">T<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">echnology, <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">E<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">ng<\/span><span class=\"\">i<\/span><span class=\"\">neering and <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">M<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">ath challenges children in many different ways.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Job markets are changing quickly and they will <\/span><span class=\"\">continue<\/span><span class=\"\"> to change in the upcoming decades due to AI and other technological disruption. The new evolving jobs of the 21st-century will require <\/span><span class=\"\">a combination<\/span><span class=\"\"> of creativity, critical thinking, and problem<\/span><span class=\"\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"\">solving skills. Children of the 21st-century need to learn those skills<\/span><span class=\"\"> to be prepared<\/span><span class=\"\"> to cope with the unknown future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">After the big success of STEM<\/span><span class=\"\">,<\/span><span class=\"\"> many teachers realized that there is one important part missing in STEM: ART! <\/span><span class=\"\">By adding art we can enhance the STEM system with higher levels of <\/span><span class=\"\">creative thinking and problem<\/span><span class=\"\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"\">solving abilities, which will give children the chance to be even more innovative and powerful. By enhancing STEM to a more creative, nature<\/span><span class=\"\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"\">inspired process, we can evolve it to become STEAM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">The greatest thinkers and innovators on the planet mastered the perfect harmony between science and art. Leonardo da Vinci was both an outstanding artist and engineer; which makes him the perfect designer!
